Heh heh heh. Good.

---by the way, I've observed that "music-is-my-bag" people or "music nerds",
who make up the vast majority of music majors, have NO interest in
any music less than 50 years old, except for very conservative
Broadway-type musicals---Andrew Lloyd Webber or the like. Jazz is OK as long
as you don't talk about "freaks" like Charlie Parker, Thelonious Monk,
John Coltrane etc.

And they REALLY hate electronics or 20th-century avant-garde. Even serialism
or Stravinsky seems to be off limits. God help you if you bring up microtonal
or untempered scales.....even just intonation is an area of ugly dispute.

(they also hate rock-n-roll, principally because
rock is mostly about sex, which music nerds don't
seem to get enough of....)
