There is this page off of Steve Bench's website. It doesn't quite answer all
your questions, but there's good info and scope shots.

Also, I'm sure the manufacturers of higher-end caps (Relcap, Hovland,
Auricap, Audio Note, Jensen) have that sort of info about their products.

My comments were based on my experiences, which are rather subjective. I've
spent some time swapping out caps in stereo tube amps, guitar amps, and even
in a passive tone control on a guitar (yeah, goofy). What works best is a
personal choice and is application-specific.
