I'm building this, specifically a periodically driven variation on the
circuit (as discussed in K. Murali, M. Lakshamanan, "Controlling of Chaos
in the Driven Chua's circuit", J. of Circuits, Systems and Computers,
vol.3, pp. 125-137,1993). I used this one instead of the autonomous
version so i could have some form of voltage control.

A basic schematic is at
http://jaguar.ir.miami.edu/~twisdom/other/MyDrivenChuaSchem.gif .
According to the papers that have been written about it, the amplitude and
frequency of the driving AC signal (V1) control the oscillations that
occur in the circuit. The circuit exhibits simple periodic oscillations,
period-doubling behavior, and several different types of chaotic
attractors. Another weaker AC signal (V2) (at a significantly higher
frequency) can be used to control chaos in the circuit and force it toward
simpler oscillations.

I've mentioned this before a little bit, but i've come a little bit
further, and i'm about ready to build it, pending my student loan check
coming in so i can buy a couple more parts.
