By "Orange Drops" I assume you mean some sort of capacitor (tantalum?),
and not the small orange-flavoured boiled sweets.  I thought the only
sound they made was a crunching sound as you chewed them.

Then again....

Anyone remember "Star Dust" - the orange-flavoured exploding crunchy
granules?  Now those really could blow your head off, and they sound they
made was loud!
