I have one built into an Aries modules.
It is a top octave generator chip with simple VCAs on each output. There are
six random voltage generators each using the sum of 4 square wave LFOs, two
of the RVGs are slew rate limited and control a stereo filter. The other 4
control the note VCAs in various ways to produce drifting harmoneous chords.
Sounds great through a long echo with regeneration, very plain without it. I
brought out all six RVGs to the front panel, I don't use the tone part at
all.
