Buggered if i can see how!
Assuming an available sawtoothof the original freq, I can see that you can
make another sawtooth one octave down by adding an appropriate amount of
square wave to the saw, though. (you effectively jack up every second saw
so it joins to the end of the previous one, making a new saw at half the 
frequency & twice the amplitude)
