Back on-topic, has anyone ever seen a tube-based phaser?
Schematics?
Magnatone guitar amplifiers had this feature. You can find schematics
in some of the guitar amp schematic books (the Groove Tubes book, the
Weber book, etc.).
Some Vox amps and some early Fender amps had a circuit that was just a
little fancier than a tremelo, but not a proper vibrato or phase
shifter. They would modulate the bias on two triodes to pan between a
low-pass and high-pass version of the input signal.
