I've had that book for several years, and I remembered that application
when I originally asked my question about what to use the "Z" input of my
scope for. I was actually hoping that someone would describe some very
handy diagnostic application for the "Z" input that I could make use in
repair work, or possibly design work. It would be especially nice if the
technique had some application in Synth repair or design. So far, it seems
that most people have little use for the "Z" input, except perhaps to build
custom displays with.
Since you mentioned it, I really liked that book. I understand there was a
second edition published which contained additional material not published
in the first volume. I've never seen that one, myself. I wonder if it is
still available? Has anyone here read the second book? What was it like?
Was it as good as the first?
Later,
Glen
