First, both the SDM2210 and the MAT-02 is being manufactured by Analog
Devices. They got into their product range when they bougth up PMI
which also had both. I still have the PMI databook that I got when I
ordered a full set of Analog Devices databooks back in 1992.
They both claim to be improved replacements of the LM394, so that
could possibly also be a usefull component. If anyone seriously tested
the LM394 in the ASM-1, then I'd love to know.
