I made a quck drawing and an ugly scan of my Dubreque
Stylophone (basic model), so if you're interested, look here
http://solair.eunet.yu/~urekar.m/stylophone.GIF
I'll redraw it in pdf as soon as someone confirms it's
OK, as I traced it and double checked but it still makes
me wonder. Values are OK, but topology makes me confused,
as this simple LFO, shouldn't it have one more RC for
phase shift osc?
If you have any suggestions or schematic, please contribute.
Transistors in original are marked only with color dots,
and I'm unwilling to desolder them, so I guessed those are
all NPNs (tried some incircuit tests, it might be right),
pinout BCE from above, flat side in front.
"Keys" are from metal plates on PCB, contact "stulys" has
metal point and wire to the box. Two switches: power and
vibrato (both on/off). On the back is "tune" preset.
Has internal 0.1W speaker. Output jack (careful, sleeve
is conected to Vcc not to gnd as it's usual). Runs off
classic 9V battery.
Possible mods are suboctaves (single 4013) with switch
mixers (on/off), vibrato LFO speed, range and intensity controls,
tune pot, some LFO and power LEDs...
The problem would be to fit anything in the box as it has
very limited space. Maybe small plastic sidebox with ribbon
cable.
I hope owners will find it usefull for repairs/mods.
Again, if you have any additional info, chime in.
Cheers,
marjan
