It's a programming language that is quite low level. (which means: ugly
english, but a close translation of what should be done in the computer).
It's to be running on the mac's rom.
>>but I've been using the G command for years and years)
OK! what was the exact key combi & command again, I forgot the details.

I installed MacsBug once, and after that, all my sound and internet
programs were crashing all the time. I took it off, and I live crashless
myself now.
Only Internet Exploder vanishes every once in a while.
About the Mac battery stuff:
The zeros and ones in the digital world actually live as 0 and 5 volts (or
another voltage convention) in the real (analogueish) world. The limit in
which a one is recognized differs from convention to convention, but say
it's 4,5 volts minimum.
Now imagine you battery giving out this exact voltage... You'll get some
free extra zeros where your computer needs/expected ones. This corrupts the
startup process enormously.
There was discussion on the benders list about 'batterybends' on
'speak'n'spells' meaning lowering the powersupply with a pot so that the
toy starts stuttering. It's a lame modification with a lot of impact
appearantly.
I don't like my G3 s&p to stutter...
:-)
