Wow, thanks Kirk! What a cool piece of software. I set it up on the
pc and had a fairly powerful mac going in just minutes...I have a very
... very fast 040 emulation ,w/64meg ,a gig HD and a huge clear
monitor for free. Blows my real 040 away!!! I might just start doing all
my internet stuff with the Mac if I can get it to see the network....it's
much safer...;-)
I hate doing midi on the pc. It seems to take 5-6 tries most of the
time. Even on an old plus I am usually able to nail it in 1 or 2 tries.
I don't know about midi on an mac-emulator running on a pc but
I'm willing to try it once or twice to find out. I do know that midi
on an mac-emulator running on a amiga works great. I have been
using Macs/Mac emulators for 5 years and this is good stuff!
Here is a getting started info page....

And this is a 5M download of a OS7.5.5 disk image.

A Tip or two for the DIY-Shopper.....
There are a lot of Macs in the thrift these days. All of those 1/2AA
3.6V batteries are going dead. Macs do not boot well with a bad
battery and may look as if the motherboard is toast......but now you
know better...;-)
For the Mac-fanatic who hates fan noise, old 040 Powerbooks are
cheap these days....
