Mac OS emulation on PC

well, it looks like it only does 040 emulation--no PPC emulation-- most Mac
Apps are PPC only nowadays: It would probably run the 040 version SoundHack
but very slowly--especially without an FPU.
Just pretend you're in 1990-93 and if you were happy with speeds and apps
out @ that time it should do fine for some of them... but that's just a
guess-I have no actually experience with it.  Many software co.'s dropped
040 support around 1996-1998.
also, I would forget about MSP/MAX on anything less than a G3.
