Actually there is some relevance to DIY and Electronic Music here- Wendy
Carlos has chased solar eclipses for many years, there's some photos on her
site.

For those of you (like myself- phooey!) who missed this one and want to mark
their calendars for the next one, here's a site listing all the eclipses for
the coming years and where they will be most visible.   There was a nice
partial solar eclipse for Christmas, the next full one in our area is 2015!
