They come pre-calibrated out of the box, but if you order more than
one moon at a time you should tell them that you want them matched.
Unfortunately they can match them either by brightness or by light
color, so you cannot expect any two moons to look exactly the same :-)

Yes, but imagine the ground loops if you connect a cable directly... Hum
all over the place.... So you should better go for an optical transmission.
(hmmm.... maybe that is the reason why it seems to be darker today - excessive
audio data modulated on the light waves ?)
