MiniDisc is
"The best cassette recorder you will ever own"
no more - no less.
I agree great for walkthings... also consider the program
material that most people are listening to, how good their
hearing is (not frequency - perception of the art).
MiniDisc is OK. I don't use it. I use DAT. I can hear the
difference.
OTOH I use cassette too...
