ah yes, open air recording........ isn't it? hmm? jumpers for goalposts..........

one thing the mini-mini-disc I've got *is* good at is live recordings- somehow all that chucked-away data seems to be all the stuff I didn't want anyway, like background noise from people at the bar or the air conditioning being rattled by the bass from the p.a.; it scores points over cassette for this sort of recording outdoors too, but you still can't beat a nagra.
