Hey, Doug

I built (DIYed) one of these and I one of those too (the 3900 one) long ago.
Sorry, but they are pretty much a waist of time. You would do much better
building one of my vc-bandpass (wah) filters and using a real lfo. If you have
a modular just use a bp-filter and lfo. The problem is the that the filters are
pretty lame...well...so are the lfos for that matter. Do you remember the BP
demo-wave? There was a short spot at the end that sounded much like a
Leslie....That was just a bpf and lfo.

Knowing that a Leslie is a 50W tube amp connected to a spinning motor-
driven 2 way cabinet. HF-horn and 15" bin. A more interesting version would
use hp & lp stereo panning filters and 2 motor simulator type lfos...meaning that
it takes a while to reach speed and it slows down when turned off. One for
panning and another for rate. I designed the lfos once, they are pretty cool. But
I never finished the filter/vca things...You also need a nice fet overdrive to
simulate the overdriven 50W tube amp.
