HTML in posts to the list

Yes and no on this line.... the line that starts with <a href=" is
indeed an html tag.  The Url that you included in your email shows up
in my mail reader (netscape 4.73) showing the code, and *two*
clickable links.  I don't remember if the PINE did this as well or
not, never-the-less PINE didn't ever have any clickable links that I
know of.

I find that the easiest thing to do to include URL's is to type the
full address such as:
http://www.mp3.com/belt <----- this will show a 'clickable' url for me
instead of:
www.mp3.com/belt <---non 'clickable'

now in this email, I don't think I included any html code, my email
client recognizes the first as a URL, but not the second.

well, that's my .02

I also agree that html messages shouldn't be allowed... the fonts are
often a lot smaller than as shown in text email...
