HTML in posts to the list

Yes, but only if it would still allow relevant HTML to pass through.  For 
instance, if someone wants to post a URL that they want people to visit (or 
they post a link to a file somewhere on the web), the URL itself is an HTML 
line.  I have a handy little utility that will strip all HTML from text 
files, but it cannot discriminate between wanted and unwanted HTML.  
Therefore, I can't safely use my utility to strip the HTML out of list mail, 
since it would strip out any URL's or web links that I wouldn't want to lose.

BTW, the HTML stripper utility that I use is a Macintosh program.  It's 
called "TagStripper 1.2".  Other than the aforementioned problem, it works 
great, and has been very useful to me.  For instance, it can be used to clear 
out all the HTML stuff from the raw source data from a web page, leaving just 
the text.  If you would like to try it, it can be downloaded at:
