KEY CV is for voltage from an analog keyboard or sequencer (with standard 1V/oct),CV is for other voltage-control sources (LFO output for instance)

In order to feed the VCO with various CV sources (other VCOs, several
LFOs...) and to get complex modulation (all CV sources are mixed before
the expo converter stage).
