Things That 'Screw Up' a Waveform

Dan Slater has a very nice article on this at his website. I built one based
on the LH0094 log processor to get continuous control of exponentation from
1 to 4. Sounds are interesting, especially in self oscillation where it
functions as a chaotic oscillator.
Other than that you can look at it as a filter with built in distortion.
Most interesting when processing complex signals like samples. Simple input
signals tend to be a little plain, because of the static nature of the
non-linearity, the spectrum is fixed. With any non-linear shaper, more
animated results are produced by modulating the amplitude of the input
signal, which changes the spectrum over time.
