The original Dynaco went the way of Eico and Heath. Solid state, then vapour
state.
A company called "Pannor" had a go with the Dynaco name recently. Didn't
last. Also, Sound Valves marketed a similar line of kits with similar (lack
of) success.
With a little work, one could probably find an orphan Dynaco MkIII monobloc
and adapt it for musical instrument work. It could use a better front end,
but the rest is very nice.
FWIW: Bass amps (all amps, really, but bass amps especially) are only as
good as their power supplies. Look for the big iron.
