Harry, I am shocked that you are not among the audiophile community that can
tell the difference between these two. Anyone with good ears can tell the
difference. But, since you asked:
"Tubes" are those things you buy at electronics stores and mail order
catalogs.
"Valves" are sold at music stores and stuffed shirt audiophile stores and
are only available in carefully matched sets with matching serial numbers
and gold plated pins.

and some others swear by "Tube Amplifiers"....
Can anyone suggest which one is really better ?
And do you think I'll be able to tell the difference
