I noticed that MCM electronics is hawking Velleman amp kits --
don't know anything about them (except that they look kind of expensive) --
might want to check them out at

Say, thanks for reminding me-- I'm done playing with my 4096-based
BBD; willing to let it go for a reasonable price to anyone who would like
to fool around with one of them (special DISCOUNT price to buyers with the
initials HH)

It's the PGS electronics kit version of Craig Anderton's 1982 Guitar Player
Mag project -- an SAD-4096 delay (NICE echo, chorus & flanger) with NE570
compansion noise reduction & onboard clock. Nice BIG board -- perfect for
experimentation & hardware hacking. Comes with all docs &
ugly-but-functional case (much drilled & modified).
Eighty bucks sound about right?
