Old projects, Theremin, data sheets, copyrights

Hi Doug:

Of course there ARE copyright issues. Even on data sheets. Chances
are that a defunct manufacturer of an obsolete product will not
come after you. Likewise an article from a magazine that no longer
sells reprints will probably not come after you either.

If they do, it is usual that they will ask you to remove their material. If
you do so promptly you will probably not be bothered
any further... as there is no damage and little change of their lawyers
getting any money from you.

If you can, contact the copyright holders for permission. It is possible
that they will just give you permission without any payment for
"informational or educational" web sites.

Failing that... you could tell us what you have, and E-mail an
"invisible" URL on your site, that could not be found by casual
web browsing. That would be quite secure.

I didn't ask for the "optimum fuzz adapter" because I either have it
(still haven't looked) and/or will not be building one soon !!!

Thanks for the offer anyway. Newbies might like to try it. Some noise
band might actually be thrilled by it !!!
