I can ask him for exact details, but the standard crackelbox as I've had in
hands, only had the touch surfaces. Michel has made bigger ones, including
one to stand/dance on.
I wanted to make one, but he said the used chip is not longer availeble,
and there no substitutes... Now I 'hacked' a toy with a little 'voice
recorder' found nice touchpoints on the surface. In Michel Waisvisz honour
I call it crackelhand (crackelbox meets 'the hands')
Th only problem: I've used yellow copper (actually "messing" in Dutch) for
the contacts, and they tend to oxide. To gain contact, I licked my
fingers... but as playing gives me a headache, I put it aside until I found
gold plated equivalents.
as for the 15 minutes remark: correct. From the web I learned you can't
really move too. Browse the web on this topic. It's interesting.
