I find it more useful (from the point of view of looking for stuff in my
"archive" of e-mails) to separate stuff out by thread, even if it means
writing many e-mails to reply to all the different threads. but maybe
there's a case for each list member condensing his/her contribution down to
one letter a day and covering the various subjects they want to talk about
in separate paragraphs or something. dunno. seems to work ok how it is. ms
exchange has a pretty good search tool, but other mail programmes might not
be as good in this area, so separate subjects are needed.
good call on the fire precautions, btw. I saw pictures on the tv news,
looked pretty bad. too often this sort of thing gets neglected by smaller
venues and by promoters and artistes alike. I think it's insane that
explosives are sold over the counter to anyone who wants them (in this
country, anyway), and they seem to get bigger every year.
