Well, if the color is translucent, isn't that nice?

:::Hi ..ok since I am at home today so I did a quick test with the letraset
:::inkjet film
:::and printed a panel with a colour background. As I suspected ..the colour is
:::simply not dense enough
:::to allow you to mount this on an unpainted aluminium panel. The same will be
:::true for the water-slide
:::decal paper with colour photocopier I would guess. The only option if you
:::dont want to paint your panel, is to go for the white opaque self-adhesive
:::film (eg letraset make this for inkjet printers) .
:::I havent tried this, but it could be that the film is opaque enough to
:::produce a dense colour background
:::and allow you to place the artwork directly on an untreated panel.
:::This film is 50 microns thick..so its thicker than the safmat, but still 1/2
:::as thick as OHP film.
:::Hope this helps,
:::cheers steve thomas
