It could be easy, or it could be slightly harder.
I assume you want to use the guitar effect on the output of the monopoly
itself ?

You might just hang a 9 volt regulator off the positive supply inside the
monopoly.
Then you can hook up the pedal power inputs to the regulator output and the
0v line.

This would work in most cases, but you might run into trouble if the earth
connection on the input to the pedal doesn't sit at the same level as the
negative supply, and you try to connect the mp output to the pedal input
using signal and shield connections.
