Yes, I often asked, but as for electronic parts, I found that about 90%
of the sellers still don't want to sell outside North America...
So now I don't even bother to ask...

I think there's a general shyness (I didn't say "suspicion") of US sellers
towards overseas bidders... In many places in the community pages,
eBay keeps repeating that selling overseas is a wonderful way to attract more
bidders... But US sellers don't seem to understand that...

Just like most US citizens have difficulties getting used to the
idea that civilized people live beyond USA borders...    ;-)
