Yes, the insulation on the Pomona cables is way overkill for our voltage
ranges and makes them cumbersome to work with.  I've since been making my
own cables from the wires in discarded power supply cables and other sources
of 14-16 guage wire.  Plus you get more colors of cable :) .   I also had to
make a bunch of miniphone to banana adapter cables to connect between the
Wiard and Serge modules.   The one wire just connects to the tip of the
miniphone plug.  Radio Shack sells a pretty decent stackable banana jack,
although the banana plugs they sell tend to loosen their threads more
quickly than others.
