Yeah, there is definitely an art to both buying and selling on eBay.
I'm still kicking myself over losing a bid for a Dynacord CLS-222.
What I've learned so far:
If selling:
- check to make sure items like it are actually being bid on, and
what to expect in price.
- Start it really low with no reserve.
- Longer auctions usually get a better price.
If buying:
- Come in ten minutes before the auction ends and bid on it. The eBay
notification to the current highest bidder that they have been outbid
can take up to a couple of hours. (This is how I lost the CLS-222 :-(
