My advice is to use more than one output jack on modules that will
likely need more than one connection.
In the JH-3, Envelopes or VCOs have 2 jacks at the outputs in
parallel, as most patches will likely need them. (It also helps
to avoid crowded front panels.)
Other modules, like a divide-by-N module, have one output
jack only. LFOs have one normal and one inverted output.

There *are* occasions when more than 2 jacks are needed
for VCOs or envelopes, or 2 LFO outputs with the same phase,
and then I, too, need multiples. But I *rarely* need them.

When they are needed, I agree it's as bad as stacking bananas,
and I'm aware that you can plan a banana system in a similar
way, with multiple output jacks.
