I have a service manual for a Yamaha YC-30 organ that has a 1968 copyright, 
and this organ had top octave divider IC's.  They were custom-made IC's that 
were only for Yamaha products.  I don't know when the Mostek IC was first 
introduced. (the chip that most of us know as the 50240)
