Hello-

I have a tr-909 that doesn't like the AC line I have to give it. (note
it is a US power version and I live in Germany. I have 2 converters and
it only works at all from one) If I make too many LEDS turn on, it shuts
off for a second and restarts. This is rather annoying.

I found a note on the net somewhere about how later models changed diode
D701 from RD6.8JB2 to RD5.6JB2 and that it allows reliable opperation
from up to 20% below optimal voltage. I would like to perform this mod
on mine, but I don't know exactly what these diodes are. Is there a
western equivalent?

thanks in advance.
