paul perry had recommended that i use one or two of the extra buttons (fire)to act as a power relay to a kids noise toy (phasor ray gun or something)  I'm looking into a couple at the moment.... one with a speaker that I could disconnect and hook the wires up to a jack would be best.  we'll see.  I'm also looking into one of those keyboards I've seen at Radio Shack... it looks as though it should be from 101 Dalmations or something($14 clearance).  It has a record/playback function and a little mic........we'll see.  The other thing is the Optimus Karaoke Echo/voice cancellor.  It has two mic inputs with levels... two other sound sources inputs....they suggest tape or cd and these are switchable.  Then theres that famously chinsy Radio Shack echo.  I'm anxious to see if its anything like the old Realistics.  I see plenty of room for patching in an out of its self....kind of like when you patch a reel to reel to do echo.........hmmm?!  The voice cancellor will lower a sound that (from the cd or tape) that is equal level in both channels.... plus some mid range stuff..... fun toy for $50.  I need to rest now...just pulled an all nighter at work.
