If you scroll almost halfway down the page there's a blurb about a certain
manufacturer at NAMM 2001:

On a completely unrelated note, looking at these pictures reminds me once
again of how odd the fashions in the year 2001 turned out to be. I guess in
2010 everyone will be laughing at how stupid they looked way back then...
