Now, if I understand it correctly I should:

buffer all I/Os
use xtal osc
use some LPF at the output (around 10kHz?)
use ext input just by enabling that bit in vcf software section 

now, only to set the things with ext "paddle" inputs - simple RC
network, and internal ADC reads time constants and write it to
some register - and those are disabled in Michael's software?
If so - not to use them?
