Are you listening with headphones or speakers?

A panning move that makes a nice sweep around the room (or at least between
the speakers) can become a little disorienting in headphones.

Headphones are great for listening to things that were originally recorded
using stereo microphone techniques, but it's very hard to truly recreate the
stereo experience by panning a mono source.
