makeing a small MCU do it would be no problem,
but would it be worth it?
A simple small PAL could do it without too much effort..
Id love a 4bit inary to 7segment display that went from 0-F..
and I would buy some (assuming tehy're not too pricey) as PALs.
as for MCU, Im unsure.. it would have to be 14pin, have self contained
clock, cheap, and commonly available..
