Hi Martijn.
The method I use is not limited to Protel but works for all programs.
1) Select a Postscript printer.
( If possible set the postscript type to encapsulated or plain postscript.)
2) Print to file.
3) Change the file extension to EPS.
4a) To make a bit map (gif?)
Open file in your favorite drawing program and save as GIF.
You might want to toy a bit with the DPI setting,
72dpi gives a smaller bit map, but is probably unreadable.
300dpi gives a real BIG picture.
4b) To make a pdf.
Open the postscript file in Acrobat or Ghost script and save as PDF.
