well it essentially is 17 hz.. really 17.xxx close to 17, my sig gen doesnt 
come with a 3 dig readout, just the pointer needle was 17, and a little bit 
off.. dont have cool edit so I cant really try that out unfortunately.. If 
cool edit has a nice incremental modulating thingo , if anyone wants to try, 
I'd recommend starting at abt 16.5 hz and going up maybe 0.01 or 0.1 hz at a 
time [depending how patient you are]
