Yeah, I can imagine...that connector'll probably have to go, though, since I 
doubt it would be too easy to find a mate for it.

A friend of mine has patchbays for sale if anybody's interested. they're 23" 
rack, rather than 19", with 60 1/4" jacks if I recall correctly. The jacks 
have some built in switching functions. They're western electric, pulled from 
an old phone switch. I can pictures for anybody who wants them (I think they 
put one up on ebay and there' photos up there)
