Oh sub audio frequency pulsing can well damage your speakers and ears (caution
when listening to Charles Cohen ;) The hypnosis experiments you speak of are
usually conducted on carrier sound modulated by the Theta waves. Cool Edit 96
(don't know about later versions) used to offer "brainwave synch" modulation of
stereo soundfiles as well as having some interesting starting information on
this field.
