Since your aftertouch is not working for you anyway,
you can take out the rubber layer that senses this presure.
It's easy to cut it to pieces and obtain hands full of nice presure
sensors for your analogue oscs and fx.
You only need to convert it's output trough a simple opamp to
more useful control voltages.
