I've also seen them in products by Dunlop (MXR Phase 100 reissue)
and Motion Sound (R3-147 rack mount rotating speaker).

BTW, isn't it reassuring to see these comparatively lo-tech
optoelectrical components being used in current commercial products?
Not that I'm anti-DSP or anything, but lo-tech has charm (and usually 
sounds good, too)!
