[sdiy] Required modules to make the most basic sounds??

Hi Andrew (et al)

I'd go with VCO, noise source, an LFO or combo LFO/Env Generator, and
a VCF (voltage controlled filter)
Add a VCA later. The VCF is the heart of an analog synth.

Then add a keyboard of midi to CV converter (and a keyboard) or go wild
(like me) and use a theremin as a controller.

PAiA had kits, EFM has circuit boards and some hard to get parts.
There is also www.synthtech.com, but that is probably in the
"beyond your wallet" class. If you have to ask... you probably can't
afford it.
