[sdiy] OT Question for ColdFusion Guru (for the list Archive)

Hello,

I am nearly finished with the scrip that will poll a mail box
and enter the new incoming messages to the Synt-DIY searchable
list archive.
This is done in ColdFusion because of its simplicity and because
my ISP does have it installed on the server.

So, how does the CFPOP tag work ? The manual tells me that i can
poll a mail box and then find some fields like
"Subject", "To", "From", "Header", "Body" and so on.
BUT: the "From" field does always countain the poster´s clear text
name, not the email address !
Is there any way to get the addy? I am not so handy with the parsing
functions of ColdFusion, but i think it should be possible to somehow
extract it from the "Header" string.

Can somebody enlighten me ?
