Hi Martin
> Any ideas, experiences?
I a few month ago did the folllowing
I drove the control inputs of my Doepfer Vocoder (he said jehova...)
with 15 dynamical ADSR-Envelopes out of the Harms MAC16 Interface (this
is a 16-channel MIDI/CV Converter, which can create soft envelopes),
each Note a channel of the vocoder.
I used different carrier signals. Playing the keyboard by hand is nice
but not that interesting, that the idea would last. Whereas playing the
envelopes from a MIDI-Track containing my drum data is very interesting.
It is similar like using a real drum signal as modulator signal, but it
sounds more punchy.
What might be nice is a polyphonic aftertouch.
I think already faders instead of rotary knobs might be a progress.
